“Genuine Japanese accommodation close to the centre of town”

It had a Japanese vibe, futon beds, and an excellent location. All the facilities we needed were there. The only problem was that finding it was a nightmare; I wandered around for 10 minutes and the check‑in was not very straightforward, even though I gave them simple tourist directions. The Japanese‑style property has thin walls, so some noise can be heard.

“Pas vraiment d'onsen”

The room was spacious, with several areas, including an entrance that opens onto the toilet and bathroom, a tiny desk, and a pleasant indoor balcony/cooking area. The setting was nice in this partially renovated complex, but the renovation could have gone a bit further. Note that although the room is powered by an onsen source, it does not actually have an onsen‑style bath as the listing might suggest; it’s just a small bathtub in the bathroom that can be filled with the source water, which isn’t very comfortable. The beds were not futons like in other accommodations; they were mattresses, slightly thicker than futons but very narrow. I personally would have preferred a futon.

Great location in town centre, peaceful And relaxing. Well- equipped, quirky, great use of space, nice light place to sit overlooking courtyard

The ryokan was renovated in a unique way and the whole place was spotless. The room was spacious, very pretty, and packed with thoughtful touches that made it super functional. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful, especially toward children, and they even had a small futon ready for our baby. I would highly recommend it.
