A historic building with a thatched roof, tucked into the quiet center of a traditional Frisian town, felt incredibly personalized. The breakfast was great, and the evening three‑course menu tasted superb, even the steak came out “à point” as requested. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere comfortable and tasteful – highly recommended. Nothing to complain about.

During breakfast, questions such as “Can I bring you another cup of coffee?” were missing, and there was a somewhat critical look when I asked for more jam.
