“Do not recommend”

The price was far better than in San Francisco during a fair that weekend. I booked a standard room, yet I was given one with a full kitchen. I didn’t check for cookware. I drove three miles to enjoy breakfast at the Sequoia Diner. If you’re looking for a budget hotel, this might be fine. When I arrived in the evening, all the available rooms were dirty, as if they hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest. I found out by elimination: I was given a key to a room that hadn’t been cleaned, then staff inspected other rooms. I was told to return to the front desk in 20 minutes so they could clean a room for me. The low price attracts some unsavory guests. My washcloth was stained, dingy, and had a hole. The room showed a lot of wear and tear. Overall, I questioned the cleanliness and probably won’t come back.

The staff were very helpful and polite, and the shower had great water pressure, hot water, and a fantastic showerhead. However, the property was very dirty, the rooms were filthy, the refrigerator had been unplugged and the freezer had melted, leaving water everywhere on the floor and under the bed; someone had spray‑painted the windows black, the floor tile was cracked, and the beds only had a bedspread and a bottom sheet.

The manager was incredibly understanding and accommodating during an urgent situation, arranging a safe place for my younger cousins to rest that night and going out of his way to help; we really appreciated his kindness and professionalism. Parking was convenient and check‑in was easy, though the property is fairly basic and could use some updates, but it met our needs for a quick overnight stay, and we value the peace and quiet.

“Avoid this place at all costs”

I booked last minute because of work in the area, but I didn’t get a single wink of sleep the whole night because people were screaming and fighting right outside my door. The vibe was incredibly sketchy and felt unsafe. The room itself was in shambles—the walls and floors desperately needed a fresh coat of paint and basic repairs. On top of that, there was visible mold in the shower, and the bathroom window offered zero privacy; the glass was clear enough for neighbors to see straight in while you were using it. Save your money and stay somewhere else; this place is a nightmare.
