“Ungepflegt”
The location is peaceful and the exterior looks pretty. The kitchen was well equipped, even down to a bread knife. Handing over the keys was straightforward, though the stairs to the upper floor were a bit of an adventure, so we left our luggage downstairs. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t clean; the single‑bed room without a window felt so stuffy that none of us wanted to sleep there. The sheets were partially torn, smelled bad, and two beds had several old spring mattresses stacked on top of each other, so we didn’t sleep well at all. We preferred to wash the dishes before using them. The furniture looked like it was being phased out and assembled haphazardly—sad! There’s a lot more that could be done with the house.
