The room was beautiful, but the hot water was unreliable; the pool was lovely and the ladies cooked well, yet there was a lot of mosque noise, the rice fields burned at night that day, the room smelled awful, and there were huge gaps in the windows and doors.

The villa‑style room with two floors, two bathrooms, a private swing, kitchen, and living area was spacious and lovely, and the common areas were the best part; lounging on the hanging hammock under palm trees by the sea is priceless, the staff were friendly and helpful, we had an AC issue that was quickly resolved, and a taxi was arranged for the next day; the restaurant menu was sparse but adequate for short stays and very reasonably priced, though the overall cleanliness was high, the bathroom needed extra cleaning, and the northern beaches aren’t ideal for swimming and there are insects in the natural surroundings.

The seaside location was nice, though only reachable by car or scooter, the pool was nice, the staff were friendly, and the scooter rental was cheap, but there was a very loud youth camp or something nearby, possibly only temporary during our stay.

The bungalows were gorgeous, and the outdoor shower under the moon was truly special, but it was disappointing that extra charges applied for fruit at breakfast.
