“Great location but food and servicenot so much”

The spot is great and the views from the hotel are impressive. The bathroom is spacious and the bathroom itself is very good. Leo at the bar and restaurant was outstanding, polite, cheery, and nothing too much trouble. Our porter/taxi driver was also really good, helpful and knowledgeable. The room we booked was a junior suite, but it turned out to be a small room with two chairs, no proper seating area, a very small terrace, and only a tree view, not what we asked for; for the price this was very disappointing. The restaurant was very disappointing; we were celebrating my 75th birthday, my husband asked them to make me feel special, they did not, one candle on my dessert did not make me feel as though they cared! Breakfast was the same every day, no choice offered of fried eggs, omelette, etc. We were recommended an Italian restaurant in Gordes for lunch, it was probably the worst Italian meal I have ever had, they should stop sending guests there! The service generally was average, and there is a distinct lack of any sign of senior management. In summary, an overpriced hotel needs to do better!

Excellent location and facilities, and the staff is super friendly. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired considering it is a French 5‑star hotel; it is below simple.
