This guesthouse is a steal – perched high up with a view of the rice terraces, and the public terrace is perfect for a tea break. The hosts, two young guys, were incredibly kind, lugging my parents' bags up the mountain and giving us great local tips. The homemade dinner, especially the bamboo‑tube chicken and rice, was a highlight. I’ll definitely come back.

Located right next to the Ping'an Terrace viewpoints – Nine Dragons Five Tigers and Seven Stars Accompanying the Moon – the room offered a gorgeous sunrise view from a spacious balcony. The breakfast rice noodles were the best in the area, and the farm‑to‑table cooking made the stay memorable. Liao, the host, even picked me up from the parking lot and helped me with my luggage up the steps. The locals were warm and friendly, making the trip to Ping'an unforgettable.
