The room was clean and good, but the terrace was the real highlight. There’s also a good breakfast, and the hosts are very helpful and friendly—they even ordered food for us and organized a tuk‑tuk. The setting in the green is very nice and quiet, secluded from the city, which makes the journey a bit tricky because a car can’t access the road; however, the hosts always arrange a tuk‑tuk for us.

This place is absolutely fantastic and 100 % recommended. The room was very spacious, well furnished, and spotless. The hosts are warm and assist with any questions, give tips, and arrange trips if needed. The breakfast was amazing!

When we arrived, the host welcomed us, showed our room, and offered tea or coffee. The stay is beautiful and located outside Ella in a peaceful spot. There’s a lovely outdoor table to relax and a hammock too! Keep in mind it’s about a 25‑minute walk downhill into Ella or you can take a tuk‑tuk. The bedroom and bathroom were large, with a comfortable bed, mosquito net, and warm shower water. Breakfast was delicious—coconut roti, fruit, juice, coffee/tea, toast, etc.—and there was plenty to try. The host responded quickly to WhatsApp messages and arranged a tuk‑tuk to the station on our last day for 1000 LKR. I would 100 % recommend staying here—we felt safe and well taken care of the whole time.

The place is a small home with two rooms. The larger (yellow) one is better and has a nice view of the valley. You can’t drive directly to the spot; you need a rickshaw. All the trips are on the hosts’ account (2 minutes from the main road). The owners and their wife are charming and did everything to make us feel at home. We sent our laundry through them and it came back in excellent condition. Breakfast was tasty and indulgent. The shower had a weak flow.

We stayed here with our three kids, and everything felt full of love and care. The staff were incredibly kind, even buying little gifts for the children, preparing a generous breakfast and a special gluten‑free option for my daughter. They offered a tuk‑tuk driver at a very low price and handled everything for us. A solid 10 for these lovely people, all while enjoying a beautiful property with stunning views.
