“Convenient but Smelly”
I picked this place mainly because it’s a stone’s throw from Guangzhou South Railway Station. The room was decent, the bed was actually comfy – not that hard Chinese bed you’re used to. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The only real issue was the smoke smell in the room; I had to keep the window open all night for fresh air. If the AC is on, the smell gets worse. I’m not sure if it was just my room or all rooms.

Very good hotel and well located. Nothing else.

The hotel is close to everything, which is great. But there’s no coffee in the rooms, towels are folded and never replaced, the door lock is noisy, and there’s almost no English communication. For foreigners, that’s a minimum expectation.

The location is good and the breakfast is local. But the beds weren’t made well.
