Convenient because it’s close to the Yamanote Line station. The entrance to the hotel was confusing.
“Clean and affordable, but some staff were unfriendly.”
The rooms and the hotel were spotless, and I felt the facilities and service gave great value for the price, making it a high‑cost‑performance stay. However, a few staff members weren’t very friendly and could improve their attitude; I’d have liked a bit more courteous and upbeat service.
The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was truly good, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location is ideal, just 3 minutes from one of the main metro lines and a 7‑Eleven right across the street. The only downside is a smell outside the entrance and the lack of in‑room laundry machines; the nearest laundromat is 120 m away, which is acceptable.

Even though the room was compact, it didn’t feel cramped and the wallpaper wasn’t off‑putting; I appreciated the variety of pillow types, although none suited me so I ended up using a bath towel as a pillow. As soon as I entered the room I noticed a strong male cosmetics scent, but it wasn’t bad enough to request a change, so I stayed; the alarm I set never went off and I wanted to tell the front desk on departure but no one was there and I was in a hurry, so I never reported it. The bathroom was tiny, and I would have liked a large communal bath – I ended up using a nearby sentō instead.
When it suddenly rained, having an umbrella was helpful. The reception took a long time.
