The view is breathtaking!!! It’s the perfect base for sunrise trekking. The room had a beautiful panoramic view and was clean. The host tried hard to address any questions we had; English was sometimes a barrier, but we always managed. When we mentioned the room felt hot, she immediately turned on two fans—very friendly. They also helped with transfers and scooters. If you want trekking and a room with a stunning view, we recommend booking here! In September, Kintamani attracts a lot of flies because of the onion farms. The location can’t do much about it, but it was intense. At night it’s fine, but when we arrived, our room was swarmed with about 20 flies. The host does her best to keep it clean, but Kintamani itself feels a bit bleak. Luxury tourist apartments are being built among the poor huts of locals, causing noise from traffic, children, roosters, and dogs at night. All of this is more about Kintamani than the property. The bathroom looks bright in the photo, but it’s actually very dark—much darker than pictured—and one of the lights was broken.

Everything is conveniently located in one place! It’s worth the price, and you can’t stay for just one night—you’ll miss it. From the moment you open the door in the morning, you can see Mount Batur and the lake beautifully. The staff and the owner are amazing; I’d definitely stay again.

The place is brand new and offers an astonishing view of the volcanoes! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was very helpful, arranging a tour and transfer for us. The Jeep tour to Batur at sunset, with the black lava, was amazing. We ordered food, and it was consistently fresh and tasty. It’s definitely the best value for money.
