It’s too expensive for the service. The breakfast is very basic with frozen bread. The room is dirty and the old bathroom isn’t clean or tidy. Overall, very poor quality.

The hotel is acceptable if you just need a place to sleep and wash at a modest price without going too far out (we’re talking Paris). The spiral stairs are a problem. The room is small and outdated.

“Plutôt agréable”

The front desk staff are nice, but there were a few issues: the bathroom door latch wouldn’t close and the bathroom window handle was loose.

The hotel’s location is ideal if you want to be near the Est train station and have an early train, giving easy access to the metro and RER for moving around Paris without much walking. The bedding is comfortable and let me sleep well. Yet, the Jarry hotel offers only rudimentary room comfort with little equipment, and don’t expect large rooms—mine was very small and felt like a Tetris puzzle to fit all the furniture. The bathroom was similarly tiny. The price was reasonable for Paris, but a cheaper price doesn’t excuse the lack of attention to detail. There were hair on the bathroom floor when I arrived, obviously not mine. The rest of the room was okay, but the somewhat dated look didn’t give a very clean overall impression. It’s a decent price point but not a high-end experience.
