The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the dock location was perfect for us, the veranda was great and we could dine outdoors every day, the owner always came by to help when the power went out or when too many strangers were on the private dock – everything was tidy and clean, the tent was ample for families with two kids, and the equipment was more than enough. The only issue was the generator noise on the farm at high temperatures (it did shut off at night); we were fine until the day before departure, except for the two dogs we brought and four dogs from other tents – everything was fine until two couples with five dogs arrived. They apparently couldn't read the rules. The grill ban and the requirement to use the designated grill near the dock were consistently ignored. Trying to light our own grill beside a wooden tent on dry grass with alcohol was too much for us, and the ball‑throwing for the five roaming dogs was also problematic. Since we had to leave the site the next morning, we had already left late the previous evening.
