The location is great, but the hostel is filthy and appears never to be cleaned.

Nothing good; the place is so dirty, feels like a scam, looks nothing like the photos, everything is filthy, the floor is broken with tiles scattered everywhere, it smells bad, there are no fans, and the staff are rude.

I stayed at a very mediocre hostel that felt filthy; it seemed like nobody cleaned at all. They claimed to have many bathrooms, but only two worked, and one had a literal hole in the floor. The whole place smelled awful, and the only relief in our room was airing it out.
