“Cómodo pero poco seguro para mujeres solas”
The room was very clean, very basic, but perfect for spending the night. The bathroom light didn’t work; it would turn on for 5 seconds and then go off. I don’t know if it’s new and unfinished, but there were holes in the ceiling with exposed cables. The stairs have no lighting, so if you arrive at night it’s all dark, and there’s no proper reception. The location isn’t great; you have to walk about 25 minutes to reach the centre, and the street you walk on isn’t very nice, it feels like an unsafe area, especially at night. If you’re a solo female traveller, I don’t recommend staying here. One morning early in the morning, as I was leaving the hotel, a guy approached me saying he was staying there too, and after complimenting me as “beautiful” and looking at me with desire, he asked if I liked cocaine. He claimed he already knew which hotel I was in; I don’t know if he really did or not, but it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. I literally ran away, afraid to return to the hotel in the afternoon. I wanted to tell the hotel staff, but there was no one there; literally anyone could get into the hotel without anyone there to control it.
