East Lyn House in Lynmouth offers adults‑only bed‑and‑breakfast rooms with private bathrooms, tea and coffee makers, hairdryers, and free WiFi. Guests lounge on a terrace overlooking the harbor and enjoy a full English or Irish breakfast daily. Located a six‑minute walk from Blacklands Beach, it is near Dunster Castle, Watermouth Castle, and Exmoor Falconry.

The hosts were absolutely top drawer, greeting us warmly and handling check‑out smoothly, not forgetting the lovely Caleb. Breakfasts were wonderful, especially the full English. The location is hard to beat for the whole area, and parking is available. The attic room felt a bit tight, but we’re tall (ish) people. A minor point: the dining room could have had some background radio or music for breakfast.

The village is great for a couple of days or even a week. It’s a good location spot. Being a small village, dining options are limited, so you have to drive out for more choices.

The owners were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Breakfast was very good, and the biggest sausage I’ve ever had for breakfast. It’s just down the road from the harbour and small independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Very quaint. I would definitely stay again. 😁

Steve & Lorna are just so friendly and always available to help. Off‑road parking fits half a dozen cars, with four or five undercover spots. A short stroll brings you into Lynmouth. The sun terrace is great for drinks.
