“Loved it”

I loved the Grand Forks facilities. They tried to charge us an extra $100 for smoking in the room, but we never smoked inside—just outside in our car or around the motel. Nothing at Grand Forks could have been better.

“Good Value”

The price was reasonable, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The tub is a bit small but still usable.

The room was clean and the staff were welcoming, and breakfast met our needs. We stayed in a second‑floor room right above the desk that opened onto the floor below; the hotel keeps music playing on ceiling speakers outside the doors of those rooms all night, making sleep difficult. We also had a room with a separate living area and a fold‑out; closing the double doors for privacy left the living area without air conditioning or heat, which was unfortunate for the person on the fold‑out, whose mattress also needed replacement. It was horrible.

“Nice and clean. Unhelpful staff”

I appreciated how close it was to the hospital, but I’m frustrated by the hassle of getting an invoice for my stay. I asked for it at checkout and was told to contact someone else; I’ve asked twice since and still haven’t received it. The stay was for medical appointments related to cancer and insurance can only reimburse me if I have the invoice. I’ve never encountered this kind of headache with a property before, and despite the location and cleanliness, I’m unlikely to book here again.

“Great pool and spa”

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the pool and spa were great; however, in the downstairs room you can hear all the sewage and water running down the pipes.
