WARNING! The owner manipulates the review system on the platform. This is one of many listings for single rooms at the same property, all with fabricated high ratings. If someone leaves a bad review, only one room’s rating drops. Check all Babienica listings to see the real situation. In this case, like others, it’s not a “Double Room with a private bathroom outside the room.” The bathrooms are shared; anyone can use whichever they want. Under the shower there was foam, and the toilet was clogged. In the hallway there’s a table with chairs where drivers who stayed here sat and talked loudly; everything was audible through the room door. These are workers’ rooms, not for a quiet, hygienic stay, even occasionally. The owner (or staff) who sounds Eastern, not Polish, tried to push the idea that the platform lacks a suitable option for his listing. He was obviously lying or didn’t understand Polish. A “private bathroom” means for private use; a bathroom available to everyone is shared. I was there only a few minutes and didn’t want to stay longer. I had to look for another place while waiting. The next day I had a flight from Katowice. I reported the discrepancy to the platform. The owner offered a 50 zł refund—laughable. Avoid this and other rooms in Babienica from afar! PS. I took photos, but the review system doesn’t let me upload them. The owner deliberately disabled that feature so the real condition can’t be shown.

Check‑in was self‑service, the place was clean, and the amenities were decent. The air‑conditioning felt too hot, as if it wasn’t plugged in or was inefficient, and there was a fair amount of street noise—especially since the window faced directly onto it.
