“Bait and switch”
I booked and paid online, but when I arrived the front‑desk staff couldn’t find my reservation and demanded I pay several hundred dollars more; it was already past 10:00 p.m. and that was a bad situation. The property eventually cancelled my reservation and promised to help me find another place that night, but that never happened, so I ended up paying several hundred dollars more than my original rate. They said they would reimburse the difference, but they haven’t, and all I’ve gotten are excuses even though it’s been months. The pricing was a bait‑and‑switch.
