The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, even assisting with my suitcase up and down the stairs. The room had a modern vibe with a balcony, and I could log into the TV for Netflix or YouTube. Wi‑Fi was decent; I had one online meeting, it was a bit slow but functional, not particularly fast. The air conditioner didn’t cool enough—probably too small or old—so 18 °C didn’t feel like 18 °C, and it got hot in the afternoon. The remote was a bit far from the central Lamai Street. The room wasn’t spotless; the sheets had a slight odor, which bothered my sensitive nose. The shower wasn’t separated from the toilet, so I had to be careful not to splash toilet paper, and the holder was awkwardly placed. The drain was jammed and took a long time to clear.

I enjoyed staying here, except for the noise from the bar across the street at night. The bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned well. A kettle would have been nice for making coffee. The location was nice and central.
