A warm welcome and a spacious room were great, but it took ages for hot water to arrive in the shower and there was no hair dryer in the room.

I loved the hotel's prime location, just a stone's throw away from the festive Winterzauber Christmas market - it was a real treat. However, getting to the hotel was a bit of a hassle, with a rather lengthy and inconvenient route to the parking lot. Despite this, the hotel's proximity to the market made it well worth the extra effort.

That being said, I was a bit let down by the breakfast offerings, which could have been more extensive, especially in the mornings. With a bit more attention to the breakfast spread, this hotel could really shine.

The room was lacking some basic amenities, like a hair dryer, and the bathroom ventilation was incredibly loud, running throughout the night and disrupting my sleep. Given the high price, I expected a lot more in terms of comfort and convenience. Overall, it felt like I was overpaying for a subpar experience.
