The owner's dad was super helpful and kept in touch quickly. The bathroom had shampoo and a nice shower gel, and the water pressure was decent. The place is right in the old town, so getting around is a breeze. The downside? The family room was pretty dark – I wish it had more light. Also, roadworks on the way back threw us off, but that wasn't the host's fault.

The owner was a real gentleman – he picked me up, helped with my bags, and sorted any hiccups that came up.

Super central and authentic. The owner was sometimes around, but when he was there he was behind a computer and didn't say much. We arrived in pouring rain, streets flooded, and had to drag our bags to the house – everything got soaked. No one was there to help, so we waited 15 minutes. When we left, he suddenly offered to drive us in a pickup truck – that would have been handy with the heavy rain.

Close to the old town, the place was friendly and the guesthouse itself was great. We did have a hard time locating it at first, but after we got there we could navigate the historic streets with ease.
