The location was fine, but the storage had many old, uncomfortable beds like in a military barracks. There was only one toilet in the room that also housed a shower. The manager charged 100 Rand for a 2 km transport, even though I was the only guest and ate at the attached restaurant every day.

The location is great; you can walk to the beach, market, pub, restaurants, cafés, and tourist spots, and even farther attractions are quickly reachable by car. It’s very organized and welcoming, though the internet could be a bit faster.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hostel; I usually avoid dorms, but needing a cheap spot near the area made it the best choice. A staff member greeted me upon arrival, guided me to the parking and my room, and tried to accommodate my requests. I got a spot close to an open window, and the dorm was just the two of us with a decent bedroom inside. The place was clean overall, the kitchen was a bit messy but that’s probably the guests’ job. It was comfortable, affordable, and quiet.
