Former coach house turned boutique hotel, Hôtel Restaurant De La Poste & Du Lion D'or sits in Vézelay’s historic center, adjacent to Sainte Marie-Madeleine Basilica. With 38 air‑conditioned rooms, including suites, it offers free Wi‑Fi, TV, and elegant décor. The venue hosts business and private events in stylish meeting and dining rooms, and its proximity to the town’s medieval charm and film‑history allure makes it uniquely memorable.

The hotel is highly recommended, the breakfast is superb, and the reception staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We would book here again for another trip to Vézelay. There is simply nothing here!

The bed was good and the staff were super nice and helpful! The bathroom is quite small!

The location is good. The room above the bar was noisy because of the loud sound system.

The spot near the basilica was great, but the breakfast staff on the first morning were very unfriendly and not helpful at all.

Excellent séjour dans un bel établissement, super bien placé en centre-ville. Nous avons adoré le confort des chambres, la qualité du petit déjeuner buffet et la grande gentillesse du personnel
