The location and facilities were perfect, but the staff were not the most friendly; they did not let us use the hotel facilities as they had mentioned regarding our early check‑in, and not even the restaurant was available to us. Only one person was kind during our stay, while the rest of the staff were very rude.
The spot is great—just a short walk to Tiergarten and the Zoo, and only 15 minutes on foot to the Berlin Gates. The room was tidy, snug, and surprisingly roomy. We also liked the swimming pool and sauna, which were included in the price. We’ll definitely return. The only downside was that the hammam was out of order during our stay.
The hotel is a standard 3‑4 star place. For the price, towels should be changed daily, the shower is broken, slippers aren’t provided, and the bar fridge is empty.
