The facilities were great, but privacy was lacking because everything inside could be heard from outside.

The Saranda property looks exactly as the photos and reviews suggest – a lovely spot close to the beach with friendly staff and a nice breakfast spread. The room is small, so expect a cramped bedroom, but that’s fine if you’re out and about most of the day. The food options could use some expansion, though what we did order was pretty good.

The pool is beautiful, the staff are definitely super friendly, and the breakfast is very good, but initially the room had a slight damp smell, and the rooms are very, very, very small; it’s recommended only for couples.

Free bicycles were available, which I liked, but the shared‑bath proposal and capsule‑style rooms felt off‑putting; in my opinion it’s unreasonable to house two people in one room.
