“Wasn’t too great but yeah it was good”

The location was great and everything else was fine, except there was a party in the hall near the reception and we could hear the loud music from our rooms upstairs.

“Great views and location but neglected hotel accomodation.”

The location. Waterfront views from the 2 bedroom apartment were lovely and provided sunrise and sunset views as it is located on the point of York Cove. Air-conditioning in all rooms kept us warm. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is spacious with TVs in each room. The apartment is above the restuarant. The stairway leading up to the apartment has a strong cooking odour that also permeates the apartment. We sprayed air freshener which worked to an extent, although the smell of grease crept in overnight. The kitchen is large. Limited cooking equipment was supplied and the one frypan and saucepan available was old, falling apart and the teflon coating was decrepid. I can only guess they want you to use the restuarant downstairs! The balcony tiles, glass and furniture had not been cleaned- there were cobwebs and bird droppings apparent. This hotel has been neglected and is over-priced

“Great spot, good value, an enjoyable winter's retreat.”

Great location, a large well‑furnished suite, a huge comfortable bed, and a perfect night away in winter. The check‑in directions to the room were a bit confusing, the unattended reception left me uncertain, and access for someone who struggles with steps wasn’t ideal until an alternative was found.
