“Wonderful resort!”
Both the resort and the rooms were beautiful and clean, exactly as the pictures showed. The staff were always helpful and eager to make you happy. The cleaning crew was the best I’ve ever seen; they respected the do‑not‑disturb sign, never entered without permission, and only cleaned when you weren’t there. I slept well on comfortable beds with long, soft pillows I wish I had at home. The weather was perfect—32 °C but felt like 25 °C, warm with a refreshing wind. The sea was warm and shallow near the beach; you have to go far to swim. There’s a long wooden pier at the end where you can snorkel. The food was good and varied, buffet style, but drinks were served by waiters. The main restaurant served breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and there were à‑la‑carte restaurants for dinner, but you had to book a day in advance. Only two dinners at the à‑la‑carte restaurants were included in the all‑inclusive package. Mosquitoes were not a problem except when I had dinner at the seafood restaurant by the beach. The hotel isn’t non‑smoking, but very few people smoked so I wasn’t bothered. Loud music, especially in the evening until about 11 pm, was a nuisance. The pools could be a bit warmer and chair reservations should be prohibited. Salespeople were insistent, bothering you by the pools or on the beach. Nobody told you, and there was no sign, that you weren’t allowed to use the bed‑like loungers on the beach; I was chased away by a rude person.
