The location was perfect for our internship at the hospital, though the drive to the beach was a bit longer. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The pool was also clean and nice. The kitchen was unfortunately a bit poorly equipped (few plates, little cutlery), but since we didn’t cook much, that wasn’t a problem. The kitchen cabinets also didn’t smell very good, but the fridge was very clean.

“We strongly advise other travellers to stay elsewhere. Having money go missing is serious enough, but being reported to”

STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND WARNING! We strongly advise against staying here. After our first night, more than €150 worth of money in local currency was missing from my bag in our room. Two other guests (also medical students staying here for the nearby teaching hospital) also reported missing money after their first night. At check‑in, I had the full amount in cash ready to pay, as agreed with the host. However, the staff member then told me to not pay yet and wait to pay at check‑out, meaning he knew the cash was in our room. The following morning, after we had left, this same staff member can be seen on the security cameras entering our rooms. Instead of taking our concerns seriously and helping investigate what had happened, the situation escalated. The next day, we and another guest were REPORTED to the police for allegedly making false accusations and defaming the property. We then had to go to the Tourist Police, give statements and spend around three hours at the police station, forcing us to postpone our planned safari. On top of this, the accommodation was dirty, we found clumps of black hair in a bathroom drawer, which was simply unhygienic. We strongly advise other travellers to stay elsewhere. Having money go missing is serious enough, but being reported to the police after raising legitimate concerns about it was completely unacceptable. Instead of making guests feel safe and supported, this experience left us feeling intimidated and treated like criminals. This is by far one of the most unprofessional and disturbing accommodation experiences we have ever had.

Very calm and peaceful environment. The pool was a great addition and was well-maintained. Overall, it was a perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay
