The spot and the facilities are great, and the dinner was hearty, but it lacked a real desert vibe. When our jeep broke down during the tour, a replacement was ready in 20 minutes, so the fix was handled well. However, the services were ridiculously expensive. They first refused to honor our written agreement, and after a drawn‑out dispute they finally settled on a price that seemed acceptable for the whole package. They even threatened to just drop us back at the car if we didn’t like it. We eventually booked the sunrise jeep tour, but the driver showed up so late that the sun had already risen, and the jeep stalled right at the first stop. The packed breakfast was assembled at the last minute and looked rushed. After the tour, we were hurried out for cleaning, and for the final transfer no one arrived on time. After several calls, a relative was sent who didn’t even get out of the car. This is not what you’d expect from Jordanian hospitality.
