“A lot of bugs and they do not even have spay .”
The location is super good, but the bathroom needs to be remodeled.
“Quiet and comfortable rooms combined with a very welcoming staff made for a pleasant stay.”
The breakfast was great, and the staff—especially the manager and waiter Julvern—were welcoming, letting us relax even though it was the end of their shift. The manager handled a delicate situation with a table next to us, where a woman didn’t tell the staff she was gluten‑free until after her food arrived; he managed it professionally and efficiently, confirming her meal was indeed gluten‑free.
“A beautiful location for a nice, restful vacation. With Mt. Washington as a backdrop the property is stunning.”
With Mt. Washington in the background, the property looks stunning. The inn is quaint and charming, though the bathroom could use a bit of upgrading.
“Beautiful property but the more you pay the less you get. Nothing complimentary except weak coffee in the lobby. A few s”
Bretton Arms was quiet. The restaurant had good service and a good breakfast. The 1902 restaurant had excellent service. We unfortunately stayed in the outbuilding property instead of the main hotel and it was virtually empty, but we had to pay for self‑parking anyway over a muddy path. We asked to be moved to the main hotel but only one night was available. The daily rate was the same for both locations, yet you do not experience the grandeur. The staff seemed inexperienced. The room felt damp. Having a dehumidifier would be helpful. We noticed that the daily maid service was minimal. No in‑room coffee or tea. Ice bucket not emptied. The property is neglected and needs maintenance and updating. Examples: dry rot on pillars, cheap plastic toilet seat and very low old‑style toilet, leaky faucet in bathroom, no safety bars or safety mat in combo bath and shower.
“Klar anbefaling. Smukt ated”
It was cozy and lovely, quieter than the big hotel. The room was large, the breakfast delicious with generous portions. Nothing to complain about.
