Nestled beautifully against the dramatic backdrop of the Banasura Hills, Achutham Banasura Villa by VOYE HOMES delivers a nearly flawless nature retreat in Wayanad. Striking the perfect balance between privacy and premium comfort, it is an exceptional choice for anyone looking to unwind. ​A few highlights stand out from an excellent stay: ​Idyllic Location: The villa is perfectly positioned less than a kilometer from the gorgeous Banasura Meenmutty Waterfalls and just a short drive from the Banasura Sagar Dam. It manages to feel blissfully secluded—complemented by a tranquil, flowing natural stream right near the property—while remaining easily accessible. ​The Pool Experience: The standout feature is the pristine outdoor swimming pool (which includes a separate kids' pool). Lounging or swimming here while looking out over the lush, mist-covered mountain valleys is incredibly restorative. ​Impeccable Comfort: The rooms—especially the balcony options—are spacious, sparkling clean, and modernly equipped. Waking up to panoramic mountain and sunrise views right from bed feels incredibly luxury-forward. ​Heartwarming Hospitality: The true soul of the property lies in its personalized service. The caretaking team is immensely helpful, attentive, and frequently praised for serving up delicious, comforting, and freshly prepared local breakfasts. We recently stayed at Achutham Cottage Wayanad by VOYE HOMES as a group of 8, and it was an absolutely stellar experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a blend of serene nature and top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be. ​The Location & Ambiance ​The location is breathtaking. Nestled right near the Banasura Sagar Dam and Meenmutty Falls, the cottage offers incredible mountain views and a peaceful, forest-side retreat. Waking up to the sound of the nearby flowing stream and the misty Wayanad hills was the highlight of our trip. It’s far enough from the hustle to be quiet, but close enough to key attractions for easy exploring. ​Staff & Hospitality ​A huge shoutout to the staff—specifically Prabith and the team. Their hospitality was impeccable. They were proactive, incredibly helpful with all our requests, and truly made us feel at home. Whether it was arranging things for our group or ensuring we were comfortable, their "service with a smile" made a huge difference. ​Cleanliness & Facilities ​Cleanliness: 10/10. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless. It’s clear the property is very well-maintained. ​Facilities: The villa is perfect for a large group. We enjoyed the common lounge areas, and the high-speed Wi-Fi (a rarity in such remote spots!) was a great plus. ​Food: The local cuisine breakfast provided was delicious and authentic—a great way to start our mornings. We also loved the campfire and BBQ setup in the evening, which is a must-do for any group staying here. ​Verdict ​For a group of 8, Achutham Cottage provided the perfect balance of privacy and togetherness. We left feeling completely recharged. Highly recommended for families or friends seeking a premium, private villa experience in Wayanad. ​Will definitely be coming back!

Location, aesthetics, facilities, staff. Could not find any drawback

We had a lovely time at this forest-side retreat, surrounded by lush greenery and with beautiful mountain views. The kids loved it here, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the Wi-Fi was a bit patchy at times. Overall, it was a great experience and we'd definitely consider coming back.
