Back in the bustling city, the memory of our stay in that tranquil green valley already feels like a dream. That hidden gem in Huailan sits tucked among rice fields, surrounded by mountains, and the two guesthouses are built so well they almost disappear into the landscape. The corner glass walls give sweeping panoramic views, and every window opens onto postcard‑like scenery—lush rice fields, soft light, and peaceful vistas that truly wow. It’s the sort of place that makes you pause just to soak it all in. The atmosphere is incredibly calm, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and at night we loved watching the bright full moon rise at the mountain’s edge while the sounds of nature lulled us to sleep. We also took bike rides to the nearby reservoir and strolled through the rice fields. When my mom couldn’t bike, Dtor kindly arranged for a staff member to take her by scooter to the reservoir. We also visited the spectacular Muang On cave and natural hot spring by car. Dtor is super friendly, extremely helpful, and genuinely welcoming, making everything easy and comfortable from start to finish. She taught us about tropical plants in her garden, and our daughter even made lemongrass tea from freshly picked lemongrass. They cut plenty of fresh lemongrass for us from her garden to take home. In the evening, she brought us to watch fireflies glowing over the rice fields. If you order dinner before 2:30 pm you’ll get a tasty Thai dinner. In the past, I always thought I’d need a temple stay when life felt too busy and stressful. Now I’ve found this place instead—I will definitely return to Harmony @ Huailan for a longer, truly peaceful getaway. Thank you Dtor and your team for giving us a wonderful stay!
