“Hôtel Piscine vue sur Lac”
We were welcomed with a glass of something and a fruit platter, and they even treated us to a buffet for one of the dinners; they moved us to a different room at no extra cost (we were two adults and two kids and the original room only had a single bed instead of two singles); the pool could be accessed straight from our terrace, and there was a laundry service – just watch the per‑item pricing, though the turnaround was very fast. On the downside, the staff’s English was limited, making communication tricky, there were no “room notes” and we had to settle every charge on the spot, which felt odd and meant we couldn’t eat at our leisure because servers kept hovering to clear plates even before we were done; overall the staff didn’t make guests feel comfortable, so the hotel seems better suited to locals than foreign tourists.
