The guesthouse is lovely. The kitchen and lounge are large, with a big TV for sharing with other guests if any. The room is a bit small but still comfortable.
“Une très belle découverte !”
What a beautiful find! Getting into the room was straightforward and convenient, and we especially liked the gated parking right across from the guest house at a very reasonable rate. The location makes it easy to walk to the historic centre. The room itself was lovely, comfortable, and utterly pleasant. The common areas were another highlight: warm, welcoming, and well laid out. You just feel at home there! The address is full of charm, and you feel good as soon as you arrive. We really enjoyed our stay.
“A lovely central place for a romantic stay, with good cooking facilities”
I’d give it 9/10 :) Highly recommend! It’s well‑situated for visiting both Guimarães and Braga. The house is charming, with a fully equipped kitchen—so many plates, tiny coffee cups, and saucers! The coffee machine and pods were good. The balcony and terrace were relaxing, a nice spot to eat, drink, and unwind. The bedroom was great, except that a mosquito net over the windows was necessary—we were bitten a lot at night. In summer heat, a fan in the bedroom would help. Other minor fixes are cheap and easy: the kitchen just needed more bowls and mugs, some salt, pepper, oil, and herbs or spices; a cloth and cleaning fluid would be handy in the bathroom. It was very clean, though other guests left toothpaste marks. The balcony and terrace could use a splash of colour—maybe some artificial plants or flowers, and a few candles would do. In a small hotel, it would be useful to inform guests how many others are staying, especially with a shared bathroom.
The house and its rooms were nice.

The room was small but worked out fine for a few nights, clean and nicely decorated. The shared kitchen and lounge were also in great shape, stocked with dishes, a fridge, detergents, and even a mini coffee station 🙂. A small snag was the lack of a hanger or hook in the bathroom for towels and toiletries.
