We were very warmly received and could park our motorcycle in the garage. The town is quickly reachable, and there was also a large terrace that could have been used. The staircase is very narrow because of the built‑in lift, and there is no lift at all. Breakfast was rather sparse; no sausage, cheese, or butter, though butter was brought upon request. Coffee was served once, and when we asked for a second cup we weren’t offered it, so we didn’t ask again after the first took a while.

I used the inn as a base for two cycling days (Nivollet and Teleccio). The inn is in a characteristic village and also has a great restaurant that I enjoyed on both evenings. It has undergone excellent restoration and is run with great skill and passion.

The inn turned out to be a pleasant surprise; the facilities were in excellent condition and Giovanni’s service was exceptional. The only downside might be the village itself, which doesn’t offer much to see.

Highly recommended! The staff were welcoming and gave great local tips, and the location is superb.
