Chalúpka v Ždiari, a rustic lodge in Ždiar, offers sun terraces, a garden, and free WiFi. Family rooms feature balconies overlooking gardens and the Tatra Mountains. Lots of toys for the kids (indoor and outdoor), parking space, well equipped kitchen, big rooms, nice location.

A cozy cabin steeped in Goral tradition offered everything a three‑generation family needed. We appreciated the friendly check‑in and check‑out, and the waste sorting system. Though not a problem, adding a dishwasher to the kitchen would be worth considering given the number of guests; a few pieces of furniture also need maintenance.

The location in central Ždiar is great, close to several ski resorts, making it ideal for families with small kids; we especially liked Monkova Dolina where the children could ski and play in the snow. The cottage is perfect—warm, snug, with a large living room, beautiful bathrooms, and a well‑equipped kitchen. Still, a few routine repairs are needed: a worn kitchen chair, stove control buttons, a radiator in the lower WC that drips a bit and falls from the wall, and cabinet hinges in the kitchen. The only kitchen item that was missing was a dishwasher.
