The Cromwell Arms Country Pub with Rooms boasts luxury rooms, fantastic food, and an award-winning sommelier's wine list. Set in pretty gardens in Romsey, it offers free Wi-Fi and parking. Individually designed rooms overlook the countryside. The pub serves local produce dishes, from classic British to creative cuisine. The River Test and New Forest National Park are nearby, with Southampton 15 minutes' drive away.

My room had excellent tea and coffee facilities, a small fridge, dressing gowns, and slippers; the bed was comfortable, the shower was roomy, and a good breakfast finished a very pleasant stay. Everything was fine.

We’ve visited twice before heading to Southampton for our cruise, and it’s a fantastic spot. Nothing to complain about.

The location was good for Winchester and Southampton, easy to find, and the staff were very pleasant and friendly; the room was cozy, suitable for a one‑night stay but I’d pick a bigger room if staying longer. It was on the road side, so the view wasn’t great but it wasn’t noisy, and breakfast was good with plenty of options. We didn’t watch much TV, but the TV wasn’t a smart TV, so it was limited if you wanted to watch.
