I had to bring my own mugs because the kitchenette only had small cups; the kettle was tiny and most venues offered the same, so a larger kettle that could be filled from basins would help; couple’s rooms don’t need a large kettle anyway – great stay overall.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean and the location was convenient for a one‑night stop; however, there was no lift and the car‑park area was noisy at 2 am and 5 am.

The location was great, the place had character, and the room was spacious and comfortable; on the deck a table would have been useful, and it would have been nice to open the barrier between rooms to chat with neighbours.
