Dang dang Balbago Beach was a highlight of our trip; we wish we could have stayed longer. If you want a quiet, off‑the‑beaten‑path escape, this is it! The bamboo huts are kept in excellent condition, spotless, and just steps from the beach. We were lucky to stay in a beach hut that had a newly built open‑air private bathroom, which we loved most. What really sets this place apart is the people. It’s a family‑run business and you can feel the love and care that everyone puts into making guests feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind and hospitable, and they cooked us a traditional Filipina dinner. They even arranged a pick‑up from the nearby port because the road was inaccessible due to construction and rain damage. If you value tranquility, hospitality, and exclusivity away from crowds, I can’t recommend this place enough!

The calm, the simplicity, the unity with nature. The remoteness yet reachable by boat. It was also very tidy. Aunt cooked breakfast and all the food you need. Naidi and her husband were friendly. They also arranged everything you needed (private tour, boat, taxi, ferry that was cancelled). Tjaka tjaka from Belgium😘. Maybe more shade spots would help; it was also extremely hot when we were there🥵.
