The room was clean, breakfast was good and varied, and the accommodation works for those who aren’t bothered by cigarette odors. The section we stayed in isn’t modern and the smell of smoke is noticeable.

Breakfast staff were comfortable on the double beds. The room’s internet didn’t hold, the single beds were a bit odd, and there was no light coming into the room.

Our room was lovely and spotless, offering a sea view that mattered a lot to us; it comfortably fit four people—two adults and two kids aged 14 and 16—with two double beds, a round dining table, and a couch large enough for an extra sleeper. The only downside was the absence of a connecting door between rooms, which we already knew. The room also featured a TV, air‑conditioning, a vanity with mirror and a fridge, plenty of natural light, and a balcony with a table and two chairs. The bathroom was small, the shower clean but worn out, and there were sufficient toiletries. Breakfast was excellent, with options for everyone and the possibility to order an omelette for an extra charge. Reaching the beach required crossing a very busy road, a situation common to most hotels in Samsun, but it didn’t stop us from recommending the place and planning a return. Despite the issues I’ll list below, the proximity to the beach and the view make it worth a visit, and we’ll be back. The reception staff weren’t very pleasant—they didn’t smile or offer a greeting of “welcome,” “good morning,” or “good evening,” which should be fixed quickly. There’s also no air‑conditioning at the front desk, perhaps because the staff are suffering from the heat. The shower head in the bathroom definitely needs replacement; at 1.72 m I struggled to stand under it, and my 1.80 m son had even more trouble. On the balcony a corner shows moisture and mold, which didn’t bother me much since it’s outside, but it isn’t attractive. Because we’re at the beach and need to dry towels, a drying rack would be useful. Additionally, the balcony railing is too low—if my children were younger I’d worry they might fall off, so a metal guard should be installed, which could also serve for hanging towels. Once these problems are addressed, the hotel would be top‑class.

The staff were definitely friendly and helpful. The location wasn’t far from the city, which we especially liked, and the hotel’s restaurant served very, very tasty food. I can only recommend it. The only downside is that this stay was just a warm stopover; next time we’ll stay longer.
