The stay was lovely, and everyone was very friendly.

“Great.”

The owner was away, so his daughter took care of us; she was very friendly. The gardens were lovely and there were plenty of activities, but it was winter so we missed the full experience. Inside the accommodation was nice, though my daughter didn’t want to play pool in the morning before we left. It seemed geared toward children and young families. The upstairs bathroom was clean and lovely, but it needs a proper shower cubicle soon.

“ok”

The place looked a bit haphazard, as if it had once been a B&B but has fallen into disrepair. For the price and location it was acceptable. The room offered a good selection of tea, coffee, a kettle, and a coffee machine. The bedding was clean and the room was fine. There was no shower, only a bath and sink. It was an old farmhouse. It didn’t feel very professional—more like staying in a friend’s house. If you expect that standard, you won’t be disappointed. Gerbils, fish, and barking dogs all greeted us. We didn’t use the garden, but it appears to need an update—though on a summer day it would look very different.

“Friendly host, large comfortable room.”

The location was ideal because I was attending a party in Terrington St. John. It could use a place to mount the shower head.

“Wont go there again and would’nt recommend unless the above improve”

Nice big old property and decent landlord. 1. There was no hot water in either of the mornings of my 2 night stay so I couldn’t take a shower. 2. There was very little light and a small mirror high up in the bathroom so I couldn’t shave 3. There was a dog which continued to play outside the room and scratch wooden floors preventing taking rest. 4. There were young children running around with the dog preventing taking rest after a busy day. Unfortunately, none of these improved despite bringing attention to these after the first night
