The décor is lovely, the furniture is nice, and we were able to choose between two rooms after viewing them; the restaurant downstairs has reasonable prices, the beds are comfortable, and the large balcony is fantastic, within walking distance of the promenade and eateries. The downside is the smoking area for hotel staff right below, which let smoke drift into our room; we are non‑smokers and that might bother some; a coffee maker would have been nice, and we were woken by a strong brick‑smoke smell in the morning, which also made the balcony walk unpleasant.

Check-in Zeiten (Personal ist da, obwohl mehrere Parteien teils seit 14 Uhr auf check-in warteten, wurde der check-in jedoch erst um kurz nach 15 Uhr geöffnet, auch keine Gepäckabstellmöglichkeit oder ähnliches geboten) Bek check-in wurde versucht zu suggerieren, es müsse noch das Frühstück gezahlt werden, welches nicht gebucht war. After a routing mistake, I booked at the last minute and the staff were incredibly helpful; the sushi from the in‑house restaurant was excellent, the room was very comfortable, bike parking was secure and dry, and breakfast was a well‑stocked continental buffet.
