The private bathroom includes a shower, a bathtub, a hair‑dryer, a bathrobe, slippers, free toiletries, a toilet, an additional toilet and toilet paper, with towels and sheets available for an extra fee. Climate and convenience are provided by air‑conditioning, heating, an electric kettle, ironing facilities, a pants press, a safety‑deposit box, a socket near the bed, a telephone and hypo‑allergenic cleaning products, and the upper floors are reachable by elevator.

The view was definitely a highlight. However, the open‑air hot‑spring had strict time limits, and when I tried to use the coffee lounge within the advertised hours, the staff curtly refused, which left me feeling let down.

The staff greeted us right outside the entrance, the view was stunningly beautiful, and the on‑site hot spring helped wash away the travel fatigue, though the changing room for the baths was littered with a lot of hair.
Because there happened to be a vacancy, we were moved up to a larger room and an older gentleman gave us a thorough walk‑through after check‑in; the facilities felt dated but were kept very clean, yet paying over 30,000 yen for a night without breakfast or dinner made the value feel poor.
