The place was a complete nightmare; I had a confirmed booking, yet the staff on site were unaware and had to contact the owner to admit it was a mistake, leaving me standing outside in the heat—an embarrassment. The rooms were tiny, less than 150 m from the highway, so truck traffic made nights unbearable. The supposed friendliness of the Brazilians was ruined by this experience. I ended up driving 150 km to find a hotel that lived up to its name.
