I liked the location—next to Zhengjia Square. The cleaning staff were very friendly and always offered water and towels. The front desk staff by the pool were also very kind. However, the front desk staff need urgent training; their service attitude, personal grooming, etiquette, and appearance do not meet the standard of a hotel of this level. Guests arrive without a smile, and everyone at the front desk looks down at their computer, with no basic greeting. Their speech is very stiff, and they aggressively push their expensive breakfast while saying things like “the nearest tea house is an hour’s taxi ride” to steer guests. A quick search shows Guangzhou Restaurant is a 10‑minute walk away. Basic honesty and personal conduct are lacking; I’m very disappointed and hope the management will train them quickly.
