The building is beautiful and luxurious, and you can walk into the city center easily even though it isn’t in the very heart of it. The beds and pillows are super comfy. Breakfast is varied and satisfies every taste. Most receptionists are very helpful, except for one woman who was a bit snappy the first night when we pointed out a booking mistake; her colleague handled it quickly. Cleanliness left something to be desired: a cookie crumb was under the bed when we arrived and stayed there the whole stay. Every time we came back, the slippers and bathrobes we left in a marked spot were found arranged but no longer identifiable to us. The same happened with towels: a used, makeup‑stained one was folded among the clean ones (hopefully ours). We had to ask the waiter on the floor daily for toilet paper because there was only one roll left, no spare, and the soap bottle by the sink for the shower and handwashing ran out and was never restocked. The wall‑mounted hair dryer shuts off when it overheats, so a woman with long hair spends hours drying her hair! In desperation she went to the spa bathroom to finish drying, but the dryer was the same. I mentioned this to the receptionist that first night, but it seemed to go unnoticed. The spa is nice, but it’s not spotless; the pool water is cloudy and stagnant.
