The host was great and very helpful. The Warby is an older property, so if you expect 5‑star luxury, it’s not that; the location was excellent and the room was comfortable for a short stay, so we’d definitely stay there again. A couple of plates with knives, forks and spoons would have made it easier to eat the pastries we bought at the local bakery for breakfast.

Beautifully situated in green surroundings yet close to town; clean, comfortable and well managed. The booking system needs attention: we were sure we had booked a room with a lounge and kitchenette according to the pictures, but we were given a two‑bedroom suite instead. Thanks to the manager Damo, he was very helpful and gave us the room we wanted as it was available.

The staff were friendly and the reception warm; the hallway’s tasteful counters offered a fantastic view of the mountains, and there were great cafés and a bakery nearby, plus an awesome Riverside walk and a redwood reserve close by.

The motel was great, the room was super clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the gardens were lovely; it had a camp kitchen with crockery, a toaster, and a microwave, which was a bonus if you wanted to cook your own meals, the manager was very helpful and knowledgeable, and I loved my stay—nothing was wrong, it was perfect.
