The room felt a bit old, but the amenities were renovated and comfortable. I stayed on a plan that included breakfast and dinner. The food exceeded my expectations in taste, quality, and presentation—totally satisfied. The onsen was pleasant, and the complimentary lotion, shampoo, etc. were nice touches. The staff were smiling and courteous. Because check‑in was via a self‑service kiosk, a typo in my name caused a delay that took a long time and ruined the start. With a self‑service system, it would be smoother if the reception used a QR code, barcode, or reservation number. Older guests and foreigners struggled, and many, like me, needed help; there was only one machine, so a long line formed and people felt awkward. The food at Yoshida Ryokan’s “Jūichi (the eleven)” was delicious.

During the unmanned check‑in, the staff quickly ran over to help me when I couldn’t understand Japanese. Everything else was very satisfying. The hotel onsen was quiet and relaxing.
