Walking distance to Hikkaduwa Beach, the railway station, and the coral reef, while Galle Fort lies 20 km away.

The staff were very friendly and the interior was beautiful and modern, but it took a while before the air‑conditioner reached a proper chill.

The accommodation was clean, on the main street and close to the beach; it also doubles as a grocery store, so you can buy what you need on the spot. The people are pleasant, kind and friendly. The rooms are simple yet tidy and functional. If anything is required, just ask the staff and they’ll bring it. We chose the European breakfast with our stay, which was adequate even though it was the same each day; there was plenty to choose from for everyone. If we hadn’t paid extra for breakfast, we could have used the kettle and mugs in the room or selected something from the shops.

The rooms were spotless, the staff super welcoming and kind, and Mr Ashoka met every one of our needs, pampering us thoroughly. The only drawback was that the rooms are located in a building above a supermarket.
